Last Updated: February 21, 2026

Lifting Logs (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Lifting Logs mobile application (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

A. Account Information

To use Lifting Logs, users must create an account.

When you register, we collect:

Email address (including Apple relay email addresses if “Hide My Email” is selected)

  • Display name

  • Unique user ID (UID)

  • Authentication provider (Apple, Google, or email/password)

  • Account creation date

  • Subscription tier status

Authentication is powered by Supabase.

We do not collect profile photos.

B. Workout & Performance Data

Workout and fitness data you enter (including exercises, sets, repetitions, weights, notes, and performance metrics):

  • Is stored locally on your device using SwiftData

  • May be synced to your personal iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit

We do not store workout data on our servers.

Workout data stored in iCloud is encrypted and governed by Apple’s privacy policies.

C. Subscription & Payment Information

Lifting Logs offers subscription-based features purchased through Apple’s App Store.

All payments are processed directly by Apple. Apple acts as the merchant of record.

We do not collect, process, or store:

  • Credit card numbers

  • Billing addresses

  • Payment details

  • Financial account information

To verify subscription status, the App may securely transmit App Store receipt data to our backend infrastructure (via Supabase Edge Functions) for server-side validation.

This receipt validation process:

  • Does not provide us access to payment details

  • Is used solely to confirm active subscription status

  • Determines entitlement tiers

  • Restores previous purchases, including legacy one-time purchase users

Payment processing and receipt issuance are governed by Apple’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

D. Feedback & Support

If you submit feedback, bug reports, or feature requests, we may store:

  • Your email address

  • Your user ID

  • The content of your message

This information is used solely to respond to you and improve the App.

    • Create and manage user accounts

    • Authenticate users securely

    • Validate subscriptions
